Hampton Roads Club Mini

OKay, I've seen this done on other sites, including our friends down at Tar Heel MINI's.

Here's the way it works:

RULES - PLEASE READ
1) No photoshop. If it ain't in the picture, it ain't in the picture. PERIOD.

2) Please only post pictures of  the MINI(s) in YOUR family, this way you will actually have to go out and take a picture if necessary. YOUR MINI means your actual MINI that you drive - not any scale replicas/models that you own.

3) No dupes - let's be creative.

4) If you are the poster who meets the picture challenge, please put your next request in a BOLD and CAPITALIZED font so it's easy to find (maybe even use some color). Note that as the poster of the challenge, you are not eligible to participate in your own challenge unless required to do so per rule #5 below.

5) IF the challenge isn't met within 7 days the person who put the challenge up then has 24 hours to complete the challenge themselves. If they cannot complete their own challenge, they are docked one point and then pick a new challenge.

6) No challenge is to be made that involves any of the following:

    * Illegal activities (this includes, but is not limited to: drugs, street racing, thievery, and sexual activities).
    * Guns
    * Real currency (the participants of this game will not be limited to those with immediate access to large amounts of funds. There is one thing that we each share, regardless of the size of our bank accounts - and that is the fact that we each drive some flavor of one of the greatest cars ever made.) Stupid rule, but I understand.
    * Nudity or NSFW stuff.
    * Destruction of one's own property, anyone else's property, or any public property.
    * A reference to a specific, past event
    * Trespassing on any property. All sites must be open to the public.

7) A picture or drawing of a thing or place or person is not the thing or place or person. (Guidance - e.g. MINI with an eagle - you cannot draw or print a picture of an eagle and hold it up next to your MINI. A statue or stuffed toy of an eagle, or a picture of an eagle on the sign of a commercial business that you had to drive your MINI to, may count depending on the wording of the challenge.)

8) A subset or part of a thing or place or person is not the thing or place or person and vice versa. (Guidance - e.g. a steak is not a cow and a pig is not bacon.)


9) In case of a dispute, the member that posted the challenge, the last prior winner and myself will decide the winner.

10) POINTS
     * 1 point for meeting a challenge.
     * 1 bonus point for meeting challenge within 24 hours of posting.
     *  if the challenge isn't met within 5 days, the challenge poster can post a pic within 24 hours (6th day) and claim
         the 1point.   If they can't produce a picture meeting their challenge, they will lose 1 point.

Remember, this is intended to be fun! At the end of the game, no prizes will be awarded. Points are just points.

That person should be allowed to choose the next "subject" since their MINI is pictured with a soldier on a horse statue.

True Shawn, no horse, no points! Oh wait, we don't give points. Well if we did, he wouldn't get any.

Agreed! On my Playskool monitor here at the shop I didn't see that far over. PLus, it really get's lost in the trees too. On the other hand, while reading your response, and reading the reference Mom I got kinda worried where we were headed with that!

But YES, we have our second winner!

So Adam gets to choose the next challenge. (hint, MINI with a Maaco sign would be nice!)

The Tar Heel MINI group referred to this as the "Pay it Forward Photo Game."  I kept up with it while the contest was going.  From what I understand, members could submit new or old photos.  The idea is to be as creative as possible in both suggestion and response.  Whoever responds gets to pick the next category.  The person with the most posts wins the game.

P.S.  This was my suggestion in the last post:  Your MINI next to a train engine.  Engineer waving would be a plus.
