I finally spoke with my contact at Moss MINI in Petersburg. They are on! The date will be in August or September, so event planners, keep this in mind. I plan on inviting MINI clubs from all around as well as posts on the big sites. Nothing definite yet, so it's still al ittle hush hush for now. Hopefully, we'll have a date by next week.
They'll open up the warehouse for tours as well as having some killer deals on their stock. They recently had a classic British car day up there. It rained, so everyone go to park inside the warehouse, Cool huh?
They may offer lunch, but we can always hit somewhere in the Richmond/Petersburg area for lunch and/or ice cream.

Waiting in anticipation of the date  Hopefully they will NOT have any killer deals where I drive away poorer  I am sure there will be quite a few Miniacs from DCMM that will attend  PS Dale please check DCMM's calendars cuz I would hate it if there was a conflict  |

I sat down a couple of weeks ago and looked at everyone's schedules. When I considered HR MINI, DC, CMMM & Tar Heel events, Aug and Sept were fairly open as of then. The folks I talked to on the Blue Ridge Parkway Tour were very interested as well.
If everyone keeps a weary eye on their scheduling it'll be fine. I'm thinking a run down VA rte 60 to Buena Vista for lunch at Franks for the memories then back up the BRP to 64 and home.

A great place to eat might also be Bottom's up Pizza in Richmond! that might go great with some performance parts shopping!

I went up there last week and purchased a set of scuttles for my MINI. There is PLENTY of parking and they are going to have alot of items on display. Looks like a fun run and I plan on attending.
