The next VMSC autocross is September 19 at RIR. There is also a test and tune the day before if you want some extra seat time. Register or ask questions at http://www.vmsc.org.

I might have to make that event. Christy has been wanting to autocross and I've been wanting to run the Clubbie. It's a shame Tyler is down at Disney with his MINI. It's a good autocross car. I'll need two new Hoosiers though. But it would be better for Christy to learn to run on street tires. Though Regina has never run an autocross on anything but race rubber. And she has two SCCA divisional Champion patches to her credit. Must have been my teaching!

Hope you can make it. We usually have at least a couple of MINIs. I agree it is better to teach on street tires.

Does VMSC still run on that smallish lot in front of RIR? It worked out real well for a decent course the last two times I was up there.

We use both RIR and VMP. When at RIR, we use the small lot inside Gate 2. The adjacent lot is now paved and we use that for grid freeing up a little more space on the autocross lot. The Spetember autocross is at RIR. October and November are at VMP.
