Well, the idea was to meet somewhere on the "Peninsula." If we're going to meet there, we might as well just keep going and meet at the place Steve mentioned previously.  |

There may be a few others like myself that know about getting to the other side of the jrb but after that it's not a familiar area and believe it or not map reading may not be up to par but anyways ????????

Well, technically, it's a meet up for the peninsula contingent, not necessarily a meet up on the peninsula. I just hate trying to keep a group together going down Mercury.

Sorry for the late response, but I'd like to tag along, possibly one other. I'd be meeting up at the Smithfield location for the drive up. I've completely forgotten to check this site, but Steve invited/reminded me at the VAC on Saturday.

I think I'm gonna head straight to Steve's starting point. Just reference his Yahoo Maps post and zoom out to get an idea of where to go. It's really easy for anyone on the Peninsula. Just head across the JRB (Rt. 258/17), turn right at the Rt. 258/32 intersection (Brewers Neck Rd.), then turn right again at Benn's Church Blvd (convenience store on right). Eventually, Rt. 258/32 will become a two-lane road. You'll go under an overpass that is Rt. 710 (Shady Dr.). You will then turn left when Rt. 258 turns left again (Main St.).
If you're on the Southside, take I-664 north and get off at Exit 9, which is also Rt. 17. You will then go about ten miles to the Brewer's Neck Rd. intersection and take a left. Follow the rest of the directions from there.
If you're way out in Suffolk, just drive straight up Rt. 10/32.

Tyler will be back from Disney Friday evening and hopefully will tag along with us to Moss!
Short stay back in the 757 before he heads back to Rhode Island for his senior years at Johnson & Wales. Gotta run his MINI over to Atlantic Monday too.
