Glad ya had a good time. It's always great seeing new MINI owners like yourself and Cameron (hr404). Moss decided to cancel the raffle since so many people had left. I voted for them just giving the few of us left the prizes but they decided not to. By the way, I'm sending you a PM about the sweat shirts now.

Yep, I was getting exciting about the raffle Everytime someone left I was figuring my odds of winning something was getting better Next time Moss should should announce a time and people might hang out a little longer for the raffle I thoroughly enjoyed the event and did pickup a ScangaugeII for the Mini

It was a fun day. Perfect Mini driving weather in the morning, but a bit warm in the afternoon for us in classics. We had a great drive thru the low country back roads along the western side of the James, with breakfast at the Surry House. There was certainly no need for a lunch stop after the spread put out by Moss. They did a great job for us, with a warm welcome and first class hospitality the entire time we were there. I'm looking forward to the day (perhaps as early as next year) when they host their first all day muti-marque classic British car event on the grounds. My afternoon drive concluded in Duck NC for the weekend. It was nice catching up with of the some familiar faces, and matching up the new ones to the screen names here at HRMINI.

When they decided not to have the raffle they were nice enough to give Mandy (Troy's daughter) a MINI hat. I thought that was really nice of them. They made a little girl happy.
It was a fun time and I have already put the boot mat to use in my blue MINI. Haven't figured out the air filter yet. Maybe one day this week I will get to it.
Good to see everyone there and meet some new people.

Boy where the MOSS guys great! :038:Had a fun drive back (still missed a turn) not having to worry about all those MINI's behind me. Put the K&N typhoon air filter on, it did make a differences.

So sorry that I missed this .. silly job keeps getting in the way of my LIFE! :-) Can't tell you how many times I looked at a map and tried to figure out a way I could leave Waynesville NC at 7am (had to be there til then) and make it to the Open House .. sounds like it was a good time so hopefully they will have it again .. I should be down to my last 2 months of having to work weekends, YEAH! What's up with the too-many-people-had-left so we aren't going to have the raffle explanation .. I thought fewer people just increased the odds? And of course since *I* wasn't there, that increased *your* odds exponentially, since everyone knows if I had been .. ha ha ha ha ..

Too Funny Susan ! You do have a history of winning raffle's, as do I. I also won my first Mini by way of a raffle. I couldn't make this event either because I had to work

Ha ha that must be why they didn't have it because Susan or Dave wasn't there to win. I know Mandy was happy you guys couldn't make it. LOL Maybe next time.
