While not much fun to drive, I will say this of the Scion xB... It has an ungodly amount of room inside of it. Kind of like Harry Potter going into the tent at the Quidditch World Cup... "I love Magic!"
To prove my point, a couple I know (he's 6'4", she's 5'4" and thick) successfully made whoopee in the back seat.. (I love going all Love Connection on ppl sometimes... see you all in 2 and 2.) :D

I agree, the Avalanche does have the Lego thing going on. Is the Baja a reincarnation of the Brat? Rampage?

The first time I ever saw an Aztek I was driving about 70mph up the Merritt Parkway in CT.
"What the hell is that??" I asked myself. I couln't take my eyes off it, the thing was so damn ugly!
My next thoughts ran along the lines of, "The guy who designed that ought to be slapped!" Then, "the manager who approved it ought to be shot!"
Then, after watching this disaster on wheels for far too long on a highway that was designed for far fewer cars moving at much slower speeds, I thought, "that thing ought to be outlawed by the NHTSA as a road hazard! There ought to be a 'somebody else's problem field*' around it so no one gets hurt!"
On to other Honorable Mentions: The AMC Gremlin, AMC Pacer, Mustang II, Cadillac Avanti, and the Toyota Echo, which I once saw described as "looking like a frightened skittish animal, with it's nose down in submission and it's hindquarters up in the air." Or something along those lines...
*From Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Simply put, an SEP field is an energy field similar to an invisibility field. When somebody, or something, is surrounded by a SEP field, the human brain perceives it as "somebody else's problem", and therefore will be incapable of paying attention to the object (or even seeing it, or recognizing its existence) unless it is being specifically looked for. In order for this to work, however, the object being hidden by the field must be sufficiently bizarre. For example, encompassing an ordinary mountain in an SEP field would have no effect. But if one were to first paint the mountain pink, then the SEP field would cause anyone who sees it to ignore its existence, a pink mountain being a sufficiently bizarre sight.
The SEP field requires much less energy than a normal invisibility field (a single torch battery can run it for over a hundred years) due to the natural propensity of humans to see things as Somebody Else's Problem. This is very close to the idea suggested by Terry Pratchett (who has often been compared to Douglas Adams): People do not see whatever they are sure cannot be there.

It's not available in the US, but has anyone seen the Fiat Multipla? I saw several of them while in Ireland. They're even rounder than Homer's picture hints at. It looks like the Oscar Meyer Hot Dog truck, except there's a gold fish bowl in stead of the weiner.

It's not available in the US, but has anyone seen the Fiat Multipla? They are an ugly thing, but a highly rated vehicle believr it or not....the interior has tons of room, kinda like the previously mentioned Scion XB. Still ugly as sin though! Shawn

When I lived in Chicago I worked for Chicago Scenic Studios; they built scenery for shows, amusement parks, etc. and also built floats for parades and things. We had the Weinermobile in the shop for repairs and I got to go inside. It was pretty cool! The other cool vehicle we had once was the Back to the Future DeLorean. Homer, that Matador reminds me way too much of a Mustang II for some reason! Jenn
