Smitty's Better Burger, Inc. is a Hampton, Virginia landmark. Located about ½ mile from the King Street gate to Langley Air Force Base, Smitty's is a traditional drive-in, famous for its oversized burgers, casual, family-friendly atmosphere, large portions and inexpensive items. Carhops dressed in black jeans and white T-shirts depicting the Smitty's logo take your order as soon as you pull up.

The menu offers hot and fresh items like hamburgers, hotdogs, fries, and seafood baskets. Smitty's "Super Burger," topped with fresh ingredients is served piping hot. Patrons also have a choice of light and crispy regular or waffle fries to accompany their burgers. Also offered on the menu are fish dinners, fried chicken, and foot long hot dogs with chili, barbeque sandwiches, and apple sticks.

Come join us and enjoy the fall weather outdoors with friends.  Since this is outdoor dining it will be canceled for rain.

I'm making a run up to Mach V in sterling this Saturday but I will make Smitty's for sure...
