DCMM is once again hosting the MINIs Take the Beltway on Nov 7. The is a charity event that benefits the Wounded Warrior Project and to show support for Veterans.

Man I would love to be able to make this one this year.  I will finally be in from sea, but as luck would have it, it looks like I am on duty.  Grrr.  Hope that you have a great turnout.

We had fun on last years terror filled lap of the Beltway. Wis we could make it this year. Hope y'all have fun! Take lots of pics!

Looking at the post we have over 130 participants that have responded yes the event  023

Hopefully not! This is a fun event. It can be a one day event, BUT there is a good deal of driving involved. My suggestion would be to drive up the night before and get a good nights sleep, then run the beltway and head home. OR, you could get up and hitthe road around 6 AM like we did and get to DC in time to grab some breakfast, then get a room up there for the night. Either way, there are LOTS of MINI's that'll be there!

Are they doing this this year?  I see that this thread started last year.  Besides, nov 7 would be the middle of the week?  I'm confused.

Ha ha ha! Yes, I realized a little too late that this was for last year's event.   icon_redface

I've signed up for this year's event, which is taking place Nov. 13th.  My brother and his finance live in Alexandria, so I'm headed up there for the weekend and bringing them along with me.  I hope to see others from HR MINI there too!
