OK, I've been horrible about getting to the movies.  I'M NOT MISSING THIS ONE!   119  Yes, Tron 3D is coming out Friday Dec. 17th.  Who's game?

Six locations will be showing.  Only one on the Peninsula, so I'm OK with going southside.  Go here for the list.  Can add dinner to the program (no pun intended) if you want.

I liked the cheesy original. I think I'd really like the new and improved version!

It appears tickets are already available for those locations that are Disney 3D (vs. IMAX 3D).  I see times posted between 7 p.m. and 8:45 p.m., so that's the window I'm shootin' for.  Movie is 2 hours and 7 minutes long.  On the far end, this puts time out as late as 11 p.m.  Having said that, somewhere to eat will be somewhat limited.  If we do the Macarthur Regal or Military Circle Cinemark, we could always do Doumar's.  They're open 'til Midnight.  If we do 7 p.m., that's out a little after 9 p.m., so there may be more options.  I'm open to suggestions.

Hey Adam,

I would love to see this. You guys let me know what you decide to do. It would be nice to go to the 7:00 show and doing dinner afterwards. Dinner at 11:00 is a little too late for me. Macarthur has a lot of places to eat and there are several places in walking distance too.

I would agree with Lelane on McArthur Center theatre, both for the food and the last time I went to the Cinemark at Military Circle mall, there were gangs of kids roaming thru the theater during the movie.  Very scary place.

OK, new locations have appeared on the list for the Peninsula.  Here's an updated list for the southside.  Looks like it's 8 p.m. for the MacArthur Center Mall.  Tickets are not available yet, but I am guessing they will go on sale by Tuesday.

This means we'll get out of there around 10:20 p.m.  I can only think of Doumar's as an after-movie stop.  If you prefer, we can do the food court there before the movie, say 7 p.m.  That's fine by me, as we can then pick whatever we want at the various places there.

Any other thoughts or suggestions, please post.  Thanks.

I think I have a shortcut here for online ticket purchase.

I highly recommend purchasing your tickets on-line ahead of time.  A couple of us waited to get tickets at the door for the last movie and missed out on the Imax event.

You have to go to Regal Cinema directly to get your tickets.  Here's the site.  Make sure you purchase tickets for the Tron:  Legacy 3D listing at 8 p.m.

I have never been to MacArthur Center.  Let's meet up at the Regal around 7 p.m. and go from there.  Someone mentioned maybe eating at Kelly's.  I'm good with that.  If you want to opt for the food court, let me know.
