HERE IS THE LINK TO TAR HEELS FOURMMy plan would be to drive down to W-S Friday night after work. It's about a 5 hour drive. Grab a hotel room, I've been to several of their runs down there, there are a few good, inexpensive hotels in the area. Join up with them that morning for the run and ending up in Sparta at Brown's restaurant. That's a perennial stop on the Blue Ridge Pkwy tour!
From there it gets a little fuzzy. Sparta is about 6 and a half hours back. Figuring the run will end around 3, that'll put us back in HR around 9 or 10. Not too terribly bad, considering the run starts at 10:30AM. OR...we could grab another hotel room for the night somewhere and do the Blue Ridge Pkwy and have a nice scenic drive back on Sunday. But that's up for discussion. I'm fine just making the drive back Saturday. That's what I usually do.
So, whaddaya think. Anyone interested? Trust me, the Tar Heel guys would love to see ya.
