I thought the Suzuki SX4 was supposed to be the MINI competitior of note? The Fiat looks nice, but we will have to see how it fares.

You guys forget that the Fiat 500 actually pre-dates the Mini by 2 years with production starting in 1957 (Mini started in 1959).  The 500 was built for the same reason as the Mini, and affordable city car.  The little retro 500 that started in 2007 is a fun little car as Tim said and I hope they bring them here as with the Abarth they will be some great fun competing against!

I saw the 500 for the first time in the flesh this morning - cool little car 023 but not quite MINI cool 003.  Fiat of South Richmond (showroom not completed yet) has 6 of them......dealership just happens to be down the street from my office:  4 red and 2 charcoal gray.  Some of them are the special edition Prima Edizione.
