Cooper Vineyard MINI Cooper Rally
Saturday August 27, 2011 IT'S ON!!!!The Rally will be same as always, starts at 11:00 and runs through 5PM. $15 (advance tickets) gets you a commemorative MINI wine glass, T shirt (?) and wine tasting from Cooper Vineyard as well as the guest wineries. They'll also have their wines for sale and they'll be in their new "green technology" tasting room. I've heard it's awesome. Much better than the little farm house. $20 at the door. Designated drivers are $10 and like the name implies, no wine tasting. I'm sure they'll have food vendors as well as crafts people selling their wares. It wouldn't be a MINI Run or a Cooper Vineyard event without a pet rescue on hand and I expect they'll be on hand again. Several MINI owners took home four legged friend last year. We'll have to work harder on getting Maggie a sibling this year. SO...I propose bringing supplied again this year. I counted over 300 pounds of supplies last year and just know we can do better this year. As always, HR MINI will be doing our spirited/scenic drive over to the vineyard, Stay tuned for more info and starting location.

So lets hear it, WHO'S IN!!!!! UPDATE REMINDERDon't forget, HR MINI always likes to support animal rescue groups. Like years gone by, we want to donate supplies to the Animal Connections folks. So pick up some dog/cat food, collars, leashes, etc. Of course, cash donations work well to, as they can usually stretch a dollar further than we can! UPDATE 8/14/11Route has been prerun and checked. Here are some teaser pic of the new tasting room. It is pretty amazing!

 I hope to be in! That's about as good as I can give ya all right now. If I can't its possible Denisa may go without me. I might not get back in the states by that time. I sure hope I can, I love the run to Cooper Vineyards

If you haven't done an event yet, plan for this one! It is everything rolled into one! It will take you all day, so set it aside on your calendar now! You do not even have to like wine to enjoy your day!

Glad to see my drive route is still in use and enjoyed today . Created it for RCM in 2005 after participating in an MS bike ride that took us along some of the same roads. Count me in from the Richmond side! Great cars, great people, great wine = great event  . |
