Award winning steaks and Pick of Norfolk Winner for years. Join us March 13 at The Grate Steak in Norfolk. 5pm for dinner. http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=7634376535&v=app_2344061033&ref=tsHere is the website with menu, directions and such. You can select your meal and either have it prepared for you or grab your drink and gather round the grill to watch your own steak cook! Or perhaps the ladies can sip cocktails while the men play with fire!  Please try to RSVP so I can tell them how many chairs to save for us! Oh Hell Yeah!
When the Grate Steak left Hampton a little part of me died. I LOVED that place. I always thought cooking my own steak was about the stupidest thing I ever heard of. UNTIL I did it! Especially hanging around the fire with a bunch of friends. I don't care if no one else goes, I'm sure I'll be there with at least one other but put me down for three just in case. This is a great , fun time to eat. If you've never dined at the Grate Steak you're in for a cool (actually HOT with the fire) time. If you have, then you know how good it is.
I'll have a designated driver, so a Zombie from the bar and a marinated steak is in my future!

Like Dale said, it just doesn't get any better cooking your own steak and having a cold drink to help with the heat. Count us in.

Agree with Steve. Great group, and very nice to see some faces we haven't seen in a while ! I really liked the fact that it was quiet enough for us to enjoy some good conversation. Oh, and the steak was fabulous |
