Might want an umbrella or rain jacket, just to be safe. Also your radios if you have 'em.

I know I'm not gonna be able to make it. I haven't heard anything from the rest of the group either. Hope y'all have better weather than we had in Chincoteague today!

Thanks to Kathy for all your hard work setting up this event and I'm really sorry the weather Gods didn't get the memo about our event. While it wasn't as bad as it could have been, it was pretty dreary. But the ice cream at Mr. Whippy's was awesome as always. And the company was great. We were tires and hungry so we headed out to Wright's for an early dinner.
I was astounded at the number of MINI's that were following y'all into the rest stop today! I haven't seen that many new faces at a HR MINI event in a long time, if ever!
If you were one of the new HR MINI members attending your first event, thanks for coming out for todays event. You're surely a hardy soul to brave the elements today. I hope ya had a good time and hope you plan on coming out to more events.
Thanks again Kathy, this absolutely needs to be an annual event!!!!!

Hey, even the rain couldn't keep a group of MINI enthusiasts from making a run up to Chincoteague yesterday. There where 22 cars that made the drive. I don't think Kathy thought this many people would show up as she only had enough direction for 16 cars. Mr. Whippy's ice cream was the best along with Wrights Restaurant. (did Dave you get any grief from a waitress ?). And Dale is right we need to make a back roads drive back up. It was also great to see so many new faces and cars that made a very wet event great. THANKS Kathy.

Thanks all you rain die-hards. Yes, I was quite surprised to see so many people showing up for breakfast and didn't get a count of Minis until the rest stop. 22 cars! The parking lot at Mr Whippy's was a riot of Minis. I hope someone who got a photo will post it. I noticed the number of MINIs dwindling around town as the day continued in rain and more rain. We were down to 7 Minis for dinner at Wrights at 6pm. Our feet were wet but our Minis were still willing to give us a tour. 4 Minis spent the night. Sunday was a little misty still. Will be sharing some photos myself very soon. Thanks again for such a big turnout! I certainly hope you all injoyed the day dispite the rain.

I have no idea what Steve and Dale told her about me, but she said they told her so many nice things about me that my meal was on the house ! I had a BIG, FAT Porterhouse Steak ! Thanks guys ! I owe you one. I REALLY owe you one ! BWAHAHAHAHA !

I was totally amazed there were so many MINI's when I finally got the waffle house I was expecting only a few due to the weather. Despite the rain it was a fun time and a Kathy did a heck of a job I want to also thank both Kathy and Dave for keeping me entertain that evening since most went home and did not stay overnight. Looking forward to doing it again with GOOD weather so we can all hangout

Tina, Ashley, and I had a great time despite the weather. And, yes, I was as much surprised that 22 MINIs showed up.
