Shawn....I was able to feast my eyes on the new front subby today...talk about eye candy, man that thing is sweeet !! I like the KAD alloy 4 pots as well. I look forward to following this build, and better yet, seeing the finished product.

If you seen it laying around anyplace else, you might think it was some kind of bike project!

Yes, I can not wait to drive it once it's complete!!! The handling is going to be amazing, and that's saying something for an already awesome handling car. The rear is a beam with coil overs as well. And those brakes should have no problem hauling it down to a stop.

So a major buy today. I bought the head and engine management along with the billet thermo housing and stainless LCB. Should make the little 1310 go a treat!!

An impressive machine indeed but I'd rather build a bike engined rear wheel drive Z Cars Mini!

I know of a recently completed mid-engine/rear drive Huyabusa Mini for sale in Michigan if that would do.

One at a time Howard, the wife already wants to kill me over this one! But since I have a spare shell that is the plan a couple years down the road.

Ok, so I figured I'd give a quick update. Things have slowed a bit while waiting on the shell but it should pick up again quickly. The new shell is at Mini Spares in the UK and the payment was sent. Waiting on shipping info pretty much now. If it gets picked up this week it can go out on March 1st and be here by March 12th! Hope all the planets align for this.
Also on the engine front the block is at the machine shop and I got the head as some saw on FB. Also ordered some red alloy bits for it to dress it up a bit. So now it bolt it together and see what we come up with! Still need arches and seats though.

That looks like a whole new car there. Looks like you need a new VIN for that should I call DMV for you.

I don't need no stinking VIN, it's a Mini, it has a chassis number!
