I swear I feel like this is an April Fool's Joke because I was sure I either posted this or that Causey had .. but I have looked everywhere on the forum and I do not see it .. is someone April fools-ing on me??  120

Sorry for the late notice .. but .. come on!

4/1/11 - VIR/RMH Charity Laps
A spring time charity laps event at VIR. To be held on April 1, 2011, from 9 am - 4 pm. Similar to the fall event, for a $25 donation, you can take your personal vehicle on the track for paced laps - as many as they can fit in a 20 minute session. And yes, you can do more than one session.

Proceeds from this event will support the Ronald McDonald House Charities of NC and SW Virginia (RMHC announcement of event).

Not an HPDE, but still fun doing laps (and if things fall right, you can get pretty fast). Usually a good assortment of vehicles to look over. And you get to help support a charity.

-------------------------

I know Troy is leading a caravan headed down from the Pax River area Friday AM, not sure where a cross point (if any) for you would be, but if you can find one and want to join up, send him a PM (PALEO)

Hope to see you there .. and if this Friday does not work in your schedule, don't forget the BMW/MINI club outing - family friendly - the following Saturday (April 9) there IS a thread for that one!!

(If club admin can add the charity laps this Friday to the calendar, that would be great .. thanks!)
