Just wanted to share the excellent service I received from the folks at Crown Mini of Richmond after purchasing a '07 MCS.  The following morning I thought the car housed a diesel from the rattling noise generating near the timing chain, just after starting it.  I'm rather fond of diesels, having spent the better part of my career working on them, but my heart sank as soon as I heard it.  After a quick search on the Google-Box and a phone call back to the dealer, they fixed me up with the revamped timing chain tensioner.  Problem solved and no argument!

I'm loving this car!

I bought our last 2 MINI's from Crown. We've had nothing but great service from them and you can get an appointment real quick too.

+1 for Crown service  045.  The customer care is 500% better than it was back in 2002.  My buddy Steve S is one of the service advisors.....he came over from Sales after many years so he knows MINIs in and out.

We just bought our new MINI from Crown. I just had some things that needed to be fixed and was at the dealer last Thursday. They did a great job and were very friendly.

They are so good at Crown that I took my '09 Clubman in and drove away in a '11 clubman :)

Called Crown today about getting an appointment for a rattle in my driver's door and a few other items to get taken care of before my warranty runs out.  I was thinking sometime next week might be possible but I've got an appointment for 9 am tomorrow.  Can't think of anytime in the past this has happened so quickly, probably took approximately two minutes time...

several times we needed to get something done at the last minute (Yea I know that's my fault!) and Crown has always gotten us in. First time was with Tyler's radio three days before he left for Florida. Even got a loaner and we didn't even buy the car from them!

No I went from an "S" to a Cooper.  It is a silver/white package.  Love being able to use mid-grade versus preimum fuel.  And my insurance went down.

Got to Crown this morning for my 9 am appointment at 8:58 am.  Ran into a bit of traffic on 95 because of lane closures.  Car was taken in right away and given a brake fluid flush, cabin air filter replacement, new scoop sent to paint today and will be installed next week with heat shielding (being done without question of course but I won't go into that from prior experience at another dealership), wiper blades (declined because the originals had been used only twice), oil change (declined because I've just done it recently), turbo inlet oil line checked, full diagnostic obc check, full visual mechanical check, turbo oil line heat shield installed, all fluids topped off.  I can't recall ever receiving this type of service on any one of my many vehicles.  Thanks to Dan Weinberger (SA) and Kenny Brown (Service tech)  Didn't even need a loaner and it took approximately two hours.....Ok I'm done - - - - - - -

Well, here's to hoping that the good reviews continue as I just traded in my 'Justa for a 2011 MCS.  So far, they've been more than fair and with any luck it will continue.
