Hey Gang, it's BACK ON!!!!!!
Pub to Pub Run I !!!!!!!!!!
Saturday, July 16th
We adjusted the date so it doesn't conflict with our DC Metro MINI friends scavenger hunt. Since it's in their back yard, we most definitely want them to join us!
Pub 2 Pub Plans
10AM Meet at the Pub Hampton for an early lunch
12 Noon Head out on a scenic/twisty run up the Northern Neck to Fredericksburg
We'll make several stops along the way as time permits.
4PM Arrive at the Pub Fredericksburg for dinner.
For those that want to hang out for a while and indulge in some adult beverages into the evening, I'm working on some hotel rooms in one of the nearby hotels. So if the DC or Tar Heel guys wanna join us they don't have a long drive back.
More info to follow, but if you have any suggestions or questions, post them up.

Sounds like fun and might be an excuse to head to VA .. got it on the calendar. Keep me posted (sometimes my subscriptions don't stick for some reason)

Hey Gang, looking for some advice here. It seems that I have scheduled this event and it conflicts with the scavenger hunt that DC Metro is doing the same day. Since this is basically in their back yard and some of their members wanted to attend, I'm thinking about rescheduling this event. I'd really like them to come out and play with us and not have to decide on one event or the other. Especially when I heard how much fun the hunt was last year.
SO...should we reschedule our Pub2Pub run for later or just have it on the 21st and hope for the best?

After MOTD, the only other event I have scheduled is visiting a friend in PA Memorial Day weekend. Not to mention the Pungo Strawberry festival is that Saturday, anyway.
How long is their scavenger hunt? Do we want to just move it later in the day?

Lets look at July 16. Two simple reasons. A) it's open on both schedules. Well, almost. and B) DC has their monthly morning get together at MINI of Sterling. So while they're having their morning meet up in Sterling, we'll be doing lunch at the Pub Hampton and driving up.
They'll already have a group assembled and could make for a great combined group meet.
PLUS, there is a new group in Richmond. The central Virginia MINI club. We can hopefully get some of them up as well.
So what do y'all think of July 16?
