I'm one of "those" people that don't own a MINI!

Does anyone know anything about these?

Avon Tech M550 A/S

They're looking like they might be a good choice. Not as much performance as I'm used to, but good for an All Season.

I have these tires on my S lites just for winter, really Jan & Feb and as I recall they were really inexpensive and have performed well.  My Falkens are great the rest of the year but since they are very allergic to even the smallest amount of sleet or snow. I have the extra set.

As a matter of fact you can buy the tires from me.......they are only $19,500 and they come with a free 04 Cooper S!!

I'll have to post details on another thread........ but the Coop is really on the market!!   :D

Totally different advice, but why not buy a well used Jeep to run on bad weather days, and let your MINI snooze in the garage?  8)

Actually, we have a well-used Jeep; a 1987 Cherokee that Marty bought new 20 years ago. When the weather's that bad, he'll probably drive it... I haven't driven it much and still feel more comfortable driving Peanut. To have two Jeeps would be overkill methinks...

You would think that the Avon Lady would have a sore back from toting those tires all over the neighborhood. :D  :D
