OK, our annual trip to MOTD has come and gone. :-( By the way, I had a BLAST !!! I think it's time we restarted our monthly dinners now, and am asking for suggestions for places that YOU think would be a great place to meet up. Don't be shy, speak up people !

Have sent a message to Capt. Chuck-A-Mucks in Rescue, Va. to see if they can handle our group for a dinner one evening. Really cool little place, and thinking it would make a nice place to get together for a monthly dinner. It's a very small place, so we'll see if they think they can handle our group. Will keep fingers crossed and will keep you all informed.

http://www.captainchuck-a-mucks.com/index.htmlEven if I can't arrange a date and time for us to go to this place as a group, I highly recommend it as a nice diversion and a fun place to visit ! Trying to arrange an HRMINI group dinner here asap.

Last dinner we had was at The Grate Steak in Norfolk. We had a blast! We're up for anything. The general theme of our dinners is to go somewhere you wouldn't normally go. Different cuisines are the goals of HR MINI's monthly dinners. And remember our motto: If you plan it, they will comeAnyone that's a member is always welcome (and encouraged) to plan an event or dinner. So if there's a place you like, by all means, post it up and we'll do it! If anyone has any questions, PM me here or shoot me an email to maacodale@aol.com

Any place visited by Guy Fieri has to be worth checking out! I'm in, just figure out a date. If it's Memorial Day weekend, I won't be here.

Only too well. We really feel fortunate to have dined there right before that decision. The Grate Steak will be sorely missed.

Captinchuck-a-mucks has replied that they would be happy to host our group for dinner. They suggest a Wed. Thurs. or Sunday night for a group of between 10-20 people. Will look at some dates and see about getting a poll posted to see if there is enough interest and vote for prefered dates.

Voting ends tomorrow, 5/17. So far it's looking like it will be on a Sunday. Cast your votes now if you have a preference as I need to give them about 5 days notice in advance. Have contacted the owners and told them that it will probably be a Sunday, 5/22 event, and asked if that will work for them. Expect to hear back from them tomorrow. If you prefer a different day, then VOTE !!!!
Assuming at this time that the majority vote will be for Sun. 5/22, I will need to give them a head count ASAP. Have told them to expect anywhere between 10 - 20 people. If the popular vote decides by tomorrow afternoon that this Sunday will be the day, who's coming ? Really would like an accurate head count for this dinner, as it is a small, family run place.

OK, who's in for this ??? Needed to make a decision, so I did. Monthly dinner will be at Capt. Chuck-a Mucks in Rescue, Va. this coming Sunday at 5pm. Thats 5/22 people ! See a previous post for their web site and address. I told them we may have between 10 and 20 people, and the owners are very happy to have us and can handle a group of that size, but are asking for a head count. So, PLEASE post if you think you will be coming asap, so I can give them a heads up. If the weather is nice they can seat us outside on the deck for a nice evening get together. Dave n Kathy. S-kar-go Dale + 1. Maacodale Don n Steph mini limo Brian n Kathy minifelini Lelane Steve n Elaine
