Has anyone had a problem with a vent/turn signal falling off their New Mini? We just bought ours 2 months ago and had it happen today on 64. Never heard a sound. What's worse is it obviously slapped and rubbed against the car in the wind before it finally broke free of the 2 wires hanging on to it!!!!

I think what you're referring to is the side scuttle on the A pillar behind the bonnet. They pretty much only clip in place. I've had the one on my 09 Clubman come loose before. I only noticed it because I was washing it at the time. With as bad as the interstate is on the southside, I can see how it could come loose. I'd call Checkered Flag. They really aren't the monster they're made out to be. Not sure if warranty will cover it or not, but it's worth a try. Worse case, run by the my shop and we'll see if the scuffs will buff out.

I actually got the scratches out with Liquid Glass and a wax applicator. I'm glad I had a few coats built up prior to this.
I plan on going to CF today too. I cant imagine them being as bad as some people have made them out. The sales folk are awesome.
I let everyone know how it goes.

 OK, today I went to Checker Flag and could not believe how simple it was. I simply told them what happened, they ordered the part and said it would be in about 2 days and they would put it on. No problem. I can't imagine being any happier with the way they have treated me and my wife
