Attended a British Car show in Raleigh last weekend and got this flyer .. it's a little closer to the HR MINIs and thought it might be of interest.

Let's see if I can put a few of the details ..

-  It's the 30th year for the SVBCC and is one of the oldest annual British car festivals on the East Coast
-  Open to British marques in any condition
-  The show offers music, prizes, door prizes, vendors, fabulous food (their words!), a shuttle between the park in      Waynesboro and the Virginia Apple Days festival
-  It's also a fund raiser for the Blue Ridge area Food Bank

Here's the website for more information:
http://www.svbcc.net/CarShow2011/carshowintro11.html

(If it's of interest and someone wants to add it to the club calendar that would ensure a little more attention once this thread gets buried)

I still have it penciled in on my calendar - depends on other commitments, but since I won't likely be able to make the Cooper Vineyards rescheduled date  ..

I may have to look and see if it's feasible to incorporate a side trip for some blueberry wine (what's the name of that place, Dale?) into it, that would sway my odds ..

Also, I don't see this on the club calendar, if someone can update? Thx

(I corrected the dates in the subject line, it's Sept 30 - Oct 2)

And my first thought upon reading that is that aren't we *just* the people to fix that???  icon_biggrin 023

Bump .. anybody else? I do believe that Wrights or Kline's will be on the itinerary for Saturday PM (especially since I didn't RSVP in time for the dinner)

By the way, I am told there will be at least 10 MINIs - classics and later models and therefore there will be a class for MINIs .. hope to see you there, I'm headed up this evening (not in time for the get together at 6pm tho) .. and then Colonial Downs on Sunday afternoon ..

Be sure and read the PDF brochure in the link below to see all of the events
