Hey Guys, I need some help from y'all. Keep your eyes open for any spam posts on here. I check right often, but this week alone I've had 18 membership requests from "off shore" ISP/e mail addresses. I'm sure these are spam bot accounts. Mostly from the Russian Federation, Latvia and Germany. Most of these are easy to spot since their member names are nothing that make sense. Just in case one slips by, someone give me a shout.

Dale,

 I get a LOT of those on the boards that I manage for a friend.  I ban the range of IP addresses.  This is how I do it.  If their IP address is 123.456.789.000, I ban 123.456.789.*   That eliminates a lot of them in one fell swoop.  You can also ban the email domain by using *@IPname.com  The boards that I run probably have the most extensive list of banned IP addresses ever known to man. :D
