I've always had an urge to smile when I saw a Mini and so thought: I want one of those. Well, tomorrow night (June 21st), I'll take delivery of a 2011 Mini S in what is called the metallic silver/white with a black top. I think it will go very well with my other big boy toy, a Kawasaki Vulcan Nomad 1700 bike. I hope I can get together with members of the group to make new friends and enjoy our Minis  |

CONGRATS! Welcome to the cult, uh I mean club. Yea that's it, a club. Never mind that you'll soon be obsessing over the MINI. You'll be waving to other MINI's (that's required, by the way) but you're used to that, bikers do it anyways.

Actually yea, they probably will. We had lots of bikes wave at us on the Blue Ridge Pkwy Tour this weekend. Of course, some MINI owners are oblivious and don't wave. We just wave more emphatically at them!  |

This will be my first "real" caravan experience with the group (did the MiniWeen run a few years back but it was only 4 cars). I'll be the one trying to stay firmly in the middle of the pack so I don't get lost!! |

I am new to the Club. My name is Peggy McNaughton and we just got our baby on Thursday, June 30th.
Never owned a Mini but have always loved go-kart racing! LOL Our new Mini is Chili pepper Red, white top with sunroof which has a checkered flag decal, two black stripes down the front of the bonnet with double white stripes on each side of the black stripe. it is TOO sweet.....has polar beige leather interior trimmed out in black and accented with wood grain.
Biggest problem now is coming up with a name but we're working on it.
Can't wait to meet other Mini owners and do some road trips.
