We are going to try to meet up with everyone on Saturday around 10:30. Any idea as to where you will be?

Should be west of Monterey on Rte 250 headed up to Elkins, WV and C.J. Maggies for lunch. We do have one photo op stop on the way out there and may have one additional depending on weather and other factors. You should be able to catch us by lunch.

Awesome weekend .. probably my favorite so far!  And I'm still an hour from Richmond and then 2.5 to home so it's going to be a late night .. I'll post more later but for all of you who I mentioned the Tar Heel Blue Ridge Tour to this weekend, I see the dates have been set .. June 14-17th .. and it will be South to North this year .. will post more regarding a concurrent group later ..

Be safe. Take care of each other!

I have to admit, on the way up Saturday AM I asked myself "...is this worth it?..."  the trip up was terrible, and I wanted to turn back and bail several times; but I made it, had an EPIC adventure, and I took a a ton of pics!  I would be remissed if I didn't give a shout out to Dale:  GREAT JOB with the re routing and making it a GREAT weekend drive.

Hope to have a web page on www.joncorley.com before the end of the week.

Thanks to all who made it a worthwhile schlep through the snow!  Hope I can attend another run again soon!

045 What a great trip ! We really enjoyed meeting you all. Dale's running commentary was super !

075 Saturday morning as we stood on the front porch of the Inn, I remarked to Pat that the guy parking his Buick in front of my MINI across the street sure seemed to be awfully close to my car.  icon_frown When I washed the dirt and salt off of the MINI today I found out just how close when I found the scrapes on the rear quarter, tail light and bumper. The stupid, mouth-breathing, cover-all wearing, neanderthal, old fart couldn't park his behemoth in a spot twice it's length without hitting my baby. There, I feel much better now !

Sorry to hear about your baby, I'm not sure any of us escape this weekend without some marks. But thankfully not as bad as yours.

A little rubbing compound, #0000 steel wool and polish and it isn't too noticeable. It wasn't bad enough to ruin a great trip.

awesome, awesome, awesome time .. Dale kept apologizing for the snow, but I'm actually believing he ordered it on purpose ... after all, these FCR drives keep turning into unique experiences .. remember last year with the wedding? To "top" it off (ha, no pun intended) this year's Fall Colours were snow-tipped .. LOVE IT!!

Thanks to all who have posted photos on the FCR photos thread -- I was much remiss about taking some, am always thankful that others have such a great eye ... waitin' for Bob & Pat's after that "adventure" to retrieve the camera ..

Great to see all of you again and will hope to do so again before the new year rolls around ..

BTW .. we'll be celebrating Drew's 11/11/11 birthday in W Virginia, not far from the KY border; I'm going to check into if there is a place nearby to procure some additional Creme Bourbon and if there is I'll post and take some orders ..

Next year I will bring infused vodka, got almost a year to dream up "with what"

LOVE YOU GUYS!!!
