Dale - I ordered a full set of these from Helix and started installing them yesterday (had the car jacked up and one wheel off). After installing the studs and proceeding with the lug nuts, I realized how ugly they looked. My rims are polished black and the factory bolts are black. The new studs and nuts are chrome. So... I'm not so enamored with them after all - and besides, i've not found it that difficult to put the wheels on w/ the factory bolts. Am I missing something here? If not - I may have a set of chrome wheel studs and matching nuts for sale....
Thanks!

"Supposed" to be stronger and better thread wear than using bolts. Does make it easier to change wheel, but like you, I've never seen it be a major stumbling block.,

Thanks Dale. "Thread Wear" ?? I guess some people like taking there wheels off and on more than I do :)
BTW - A month after you guys finished painting my son Travis' '90 Integra a beautiful shade of blue, it threw a timing belt on I64 in Norfolk. Thanks to the Big Guy upstairs, in spite of all the talk about "interference engines", it had NO valve damage! So - being the overly kind father that I am (and having already spent $$ fixing and painting this antique), I (with a tad bit of help from Travis) pulled the head, had it shaved at Apple's Machine shop, and installed new timing belt, head gaskets, about a dozen other gaskets and belts, and put it all back together. Somewhat surprisingly, after a newbie valve adjustment job by yours truly, she started right up and purred like a kitten. After figuring out where the three leftover bolts were supposed to be, and installing them, the car runs like a champ. (Well - it's still over 20 years old with 214K miles - but it does runs smoothly.) Just thought I'd share that. The car looks really nice too, BTW.

I've got a new wheel stud kit from Helix ($49) for sale. I don't like the way they look on my wheels - and I don't have a problem with the OEM style bolts. Make an offer if your interested. They're just hangin' out in the garage otherwise. Thanks!

According to Mini Mania, M12x1.5 pattern bolts are good up until 7/11/2006 production MINIs. Everything after that would be M14x1.25.
