Just wanted to update everybody on the Michelins. I have put almost 1000 miles on them and can honestly say that I am very pleased. I have avoided buying Michelins for any of my cars because of the price factor, but I am now a fan! I had high expectations for these tires and have not been disappointed. They are FANTASTIC considering the price of less than $135 a tire after mail-in rebate. The most narrow 17" version is 215 (versus stock 205), so the fenders are filled a little more making them look beefier

than the stock runflats.
- Ride: Vastly improved, best ever in a MINI (N/A Countryman) surpassing my 2002 MC
- Noise: Super quiet. Makes listening to the stock stereo a more pleasant experience.
- Track: Straight as an arrow (fresh alignment helps too

).
- Wet grip: Great. No hydroplaning so far.
- Dry grip: Sticks like glue, but haven't pushed them to their limits yet.
- Turn-in: Crisp. Maybe 1 tick less so than the RFs but overall very nice.
Last night in the pouring rain we had here in NW Richmond they were awesome, couldn't tell really that it was wet. Dry grip levels seem high too, although I am trying to break the tires in gently and I need these to last a while so haven't really pushed them to their limits.
