Hey everyone in HRmini, I made this account like a month ago, but never got around to actually using the site. So, here I am making my introduction. I went to the C&C today, and I was amazed at how many MINIs there were there. But, onto my car. I own a 2007 Mini Cooper S, and it's actually my first car. Purchased it used, by Auto Haus of yorktown. It's a pure silver metallic color, with a carbon black leatherette interior. Sport package, all the goodies I need.
I began my modding scene with a K&N cold air filter, followed by swapping the OEM shift knob with the JCW stock shift knob. (Red lettering) Not much of a mod, but it's a change.
After that, some time went by, and I decided that the stock exhaust just wasn't stock enough, so I went ahead and installed a cat-back exhaust system by Invidia. For everyone that's never heard mine, or one in person, it's got a nice low-pitched STi sort of sound to it. Bought new, the sound increased over time. Stainless steel all the way back, keeping its stainless steel look, it's gorgeous and well worth the money.
My brother sold his first car about 2 months ago, a 2007 honda civic Ex coupe. I guess he needed something faster to keep up with me, so he decided to get a dodge caliber srt4. Sleeper for sure, nobody ever knows what it is, or its true power. 4 cylinder 2.4L turbo putting out 300WHP 300TQ on a front wheel drive weighing 3100 lbs is a beast for sure. Running 0-60 in an estimated 5.4 seconds, with an ECU tune, exhaust, and intake.
With him buying the srt4, he decided that having a sound system put back into his car just didn't feel right. He decided to sell me his system for a small price, since I helped him sell his civic. I got it recently installed at a local audio shop, specializing in subwoofers and amp setups, ranging from whatever you can think of. I picked it up later that day, with a kick ass bass system capable of 1000 watts.
My last and most recent mod was a new set of wheels. I was on vacation with my family on a cruise in the caribbean, and my car was being inspected. My Dad knew, but it completely blew past me that my back tires were a bit weak, and that they should be replaced. I figured it'd be best if I were to replace the OEM ones with some nice black ones, since the OEM's aren't very welcoming to me. I decided to replace my OEM wheels with 17" Enkei Imola's with continental ultra sport all seasons.
Hoping to get an Alta Accessport soon, that's on the wish list, along with a few other exterior mods.
Hope I get to meet everyone and have a good time with everyone from HRMini. I can assure you, you won't think bad of me, at least I hope not.  059 Daniel  023
