Okay, as long as I'm taking surveys, does anybody in HR MINI land have Zippee Shades for their sun roofs? Tyler is thinking about a set for Florida and I really wouldn't mind a set as well. Sometimes the perforated shields from MINI just don't cut it!

I have a set for my clubby. I like them. Just havn't put them back on in awhile. Something I really need to do. That and eventually get the glass tinted as dark as I can get them. But the shades are really a relief during the summer!

Have limo tint on my sunroof, used shades in the past but really like the tint.  No problems with heat at all.....

I like the idea of limo tint too. Just heard stories of heat issues with real dark tint. And with Tyler being down in Florida that could be a bigger issue. But, it does get pretty hot up here too.....

Have thought about zippee shades, but then it was only about $50 bucks to have both sunroofs tinted dark.  Heat is not an issue if you make sure you get a metal based/heat reflecting tint.  Most good quality ones are good.  The guy who did mine has some good stuff!  It was Advanced Window Tint in Virginia Beach on Diamond Springs Road near Little Creek base.

I got my zippee shades on Friday. Sure ain't much to 'em. Basically little square nylon foldable sun shades like what goes in your windshield. Four suction cups hold them in place. Looking forward to seeing how well they work. It says you can leave them attached even with the sun roof open. And they're tested to stay in place up to 90 mph. Might just have to check that one! At langley speedway, of course  105
