I realize that I am just a lurker on HR Mini and Facebook for that matter. So my opinion does not count. I do agree that we should have one place for our event calendar. It is a dilemma though on which to use. Facebook has its place as a conversation board. HR MINI is a great place to see events and RSVP. Not being an avid Facebook user, I do miss out. Steve is my event coordinator

so I do get to make most events. I think he looks to HR MINI first for events.
Here are some thoughts ....
Other car clubs know about HRMINI's website. We would not want to lose access to those clubs. We have a strong MINI community though it spans several states and many clubs.
Facebook is one place where people share thoughts on their personal lives, political opinions, etc.
Dale and Cathy are site moderators. Having two different sites to post information has to be time consuming, and most likely frustrating.
What would the effect be on the club if information - was posted only to one site?
Would we lose potential MINI family members?
Maybe we could put out a real survey for responses.
Sometimes Facebook contains TMI (Too much information) Just my humble opinion, and one glass of wine!
