Hey Guys, we all know HR MINI is all about it's members. Lets keep track of one another here and see how things are for everybody. Post your situation. Offer some encouragement or even lend a hand if needed.
As for my house, we were a brick away from water getting in the house last time. Everyone seems to be saying this one will be 1-2 feet worse than Isabel. Thinking I'll go back to a very soggy house. I won't be happy at all, but when I think of the folks in Gloucester that lost everything, I'll settle for whatever I get.

All fine here. Were a couple miles from the oceanfront. Seen a lot of wind and rain. Power flickered once. Came back on tho. But were are all fine here. Orville narrowly missed being hit with a sizable tree branch. Everyone stay safe and good luck!

Hope everyone is safe and sound .. and keep the posts coming, just so we know .. as family afar was checking in with us in NC today I had the same refrain: we're all fine in the triangle, 120-150 miles from the shore, but now I'm concerned about Virginia and my HR MINI friends ..
(and Dale, I hope you meant Gloucester after Irene as I have not seen any reports of major damage there today, or am I missing them?)
Be safe, y'all ..

No damage at the shop in Hampton, never even lost power. House is also fine. Isabel had water within one brick of coming in the house. Apparently it didn't even get to the foundation this time. Whatever helped cause the storm to weaken, THANK YOU!

Day three here in my part of Williamsburg and still no power. Phone and internet back on this morning. The ice storm schooled me and I had a whole house natural gas generator installed so no problems here. Most of my neighbors also have generators, no water damage but very minor roof damage. Good to have a neighbor that does roofing so that was repaired very quickly......

I'm in the burg...........Tree fell on house but no serious damage to the house, which is a good thing - spent yesterday taking care of that! No electricity and no generator but I'm making the best of it..............Never thought I'd look forward to coming to work for the air conditioning and electricity to charge my phone :) Hope everyone is safe!!! Looking forward to seeing everyone soon!

No damage here. Lost cable ten minutes after getting the generator fired up Saturday night. Up-and-down since then until late last night. Power was restored on Monday around 3 p.m., but we lost it again around 5 p.m. Came back on today around 11:30 a.m. Good to go now.

We got our power back the night at Checker Flag looking at the new Coupe. We just got our internet, cable and phone today. We lost 4 trees and enough debris to fill a 10 ton truck, which we're till trying to clean up.

just got power back here in richmond. yesterday (Friday). which means just got internet back. as for how im doing .. Still going blind and had the defibulator go off once. as for the car. Power Steering pump failed and right exhaust tip fell off. Should be replacing pump and cat back exhaust next week. Just what do i have in plans for the exhaust. who knows but it will be exclusive or different to me like before and we will see if it gets copied. Just not sure if im going with the dual or quad tip design yet. Hey six days with out power.. unable to leave the house and no phone, internet and TV. I can sit here and come up with some crazy stuff.

We made out good in the storm. we only had about 2 and 1/2 feet of water under our house and we were expecting more. Yes, i got the MINI out of town!! the shop got no water at all. Yea! but while the power was off there was a Formula 1 race that my DVR couldn't record so does anyone know who won?

I know this is late but as far as Irene is concerned, my house and car flooded. Which is good news for the car because it allowed me to get the MINI I live in Willoughby Spit off Little Bay Ave and its the second time it has flooded in the three years I have owned the house. I'm not sure if I will be selling it or blowing it up but something will be done!
