Hey Gang,
We have a ton of members that haven't logged onto the site for well over a year or more. I propose to delete some of the older accounts that have been inactive for over 2 years. We'll start there and see how it goes. No sense in having so many members on the roster that don't use the site. Maybe they've sold their MINI  icon_cry , moved away  039 or died  059

Either way, I propose we remove them if no one opposes. I can't imagine anyone would.

So far I've stopped at anyone who hasn't logged in in over 600 days and had very few posts. Pretty sure if you haven't logged in in that amount of time, you're not really considered an "active" member.

I'd like to delete anyone who hasn't logged in within the past year really, but is that too extreme?

My advice is to send those inactive members an e-mail informing them to reply if they wish to keep their account active.  Those that bounce back are a given they are no longer around.  The only downside is the flood of replies themselves.

If you email those who haven't logged in in a while just say something like, "hey, we are doing some board maintenance and noticed that you haven't logged in in over a year.  Please come by and see what is going on at HR Mini!  Those who do not log in within XX days will be deleted by default but are always welcome to come back at any time!"  That way you don't get a bunch of responses to cross-reference.

Pretty much anyone in recent history is good. Anyone I know is also good. Worse case, I delete someone that I shouldn't have (which is doubtful) they can try to log in. If they can't they can just rejoin the club. I doubt seriously if that will even be an issue.
