I have chosen a single silver rally stripe with two 3/4" silver stripes on either side down the middle of my british racing green/black roof Clubby. I think the silver will be a subtle touch and will tie in with the silver wheels and the small amounts of chrome thats on the car. I've read that silver tends to fade over time but I hope thats only true for cheap applications.

I thought I would try to do it myself but since its down the middle I was afraid I would screw it up around the antenna, rear wipers and rear door handles. I called Brian Fellini at Checkered Flag Mini and he recommended Scott at Auto Trim and Design but after calling Scott three times and leaving messages and getting no reply, for the last week, I'm wondering who else to give the work to.

Does anyone have any recommendations or suggestions?

I have a guy that I've dealt with for 20+ years. He's in Hampton. I'll gethis number and post it tomorrow if I run by the shop. He did some neat lavender stripes on a members ice blue MINI that looked real neat.

The guy who did my whole bonnet in carbon fiber is TJ from Atlantic Motorsports on VA Beach Blvd.  right between Alpha music and Hall Acura (used to be Hall GMC/Pontiac).  He did the whole thing with materials very reasonably and it was a great job!

Call Don Robinson at 435-5122 his company name is Letter Perfect. He's a good guy and has been doing this stuff for 30 years. We used to use him all the way back to the early 80's.  I'm sure he can fix ya right up!

Thanks for the Southside info!  I'll be running by there to chat with them as I want some work done on the new baby and really just don't have the time to go to the Peninsula for it.

Thanks Dale. Don seems like a really good guy. He is scheduled to do the stripping on Monday. I am going to have him stripe the sunroof like we talked about. I think it will look good. I let you know how it goes maybe post a pic or two.

Yeah, I don't know if you've ever seen "Tiberius", but most of the gang saw the bonnet job I had at the Dragon.  I had a lot of good comments on it and have been extremely happy.  He did a wonderful job.  I'm gonna have him do the gray trim around the back doors when I get back from deployment.

I talked with T.C. over the weekend.  I'm going to put together a mock-up of what I want.  He gave ma ballpark based on what I was describing and I'm very happy with the price point.  I was also very impressed with his patience and taking the time to explain to me what materials are used, how pricing is determined, after care, etc.
