Seriously please have some gas in your car when you drop off for service we have to drive them to verify that it is fixed.

Got ya beat! Just had a pharmaceutical rep drop her 2011 Ford Fusion off for a repair. Had front end damage to include front bumper and all the cooling. Of course we had to drive it to make sure cooling works. The readout said "0" miles to empty! I put 2 gallons in it and it STILL said "0" miles to empty. Must be something wrong with the guage from the accident. It could happen. So we sent it to the dealer Nope. Just not enough fuel!

C'mon people! If I can put 2 gallons in your car, THAT should make some sorta dent in the distance to empty figure!

It's called common sense people!

When I drove home once in my old '02 MCS in a single tank of gas from Greenville, SC, the computer said "-25 miles" at one point!   icon_eek  Thankfully, I was right up the street when that happened.

That's about as bad as General Wee on the run to Baltimore Mini's grand opening party.  I think he was at -18 or something and we were still trying to find a gas station.  LOL
