Hampton Roads Club Mini

Okay, I have to share this with y'all. Especially since I feel like y'all are my family as much as the ones that leach, uh I mean live with me.

Ya know I did the story for Modern MINI about the Dragon this year. It was published in the last issue. Those of you that don't know, this is a UK based new MINI magazine that is about as good as it gets. You can pick it up at some Barnes & Noble stores, but not all. The one in Hampton beside the Pub doesn't carry it, but the one by Patrick Henry Mall does. I thought it was pretty cool when the members of the ClubmanRegister.co.uk, that I'm a member of, said they liked the story. Anyway, the magazine does the Modern MINI Oscars each year, basically a popularity contest for the MINI's and MINI vendors featured throughout the year. When I sent in my vote yesterday, Sarah Harrington-James, the editor sent back this reply:

Great to hear from you over in the States! Our readers loved your MINIs on the Dragon report – I hope you received the copy I sent over and the Modern MINI car stickers. It’d be fab if you could continue the write ups as we’re lacking some international event stuff in The Vibe.

I'm really honored and was super excited when I read that. You've seen my write ups on events. Not really sure if I do a good job or not, but I like writing and ya know I love MINI's and motoring. I'm feeling a BIG Fall Colors Story coming up in a future issue.
