Hampton Roads Club Mini

It is with a sad heart I must say I am no longer willing to shop at MOSS MINI.  On three separate "consecutive" occasions in the past, I made purchases during a period when they had their 15% off coupon.  On ALL of those occasions, MOSS MINI conveniently forgot to apply the code.  Or maybe their online purchasing system just stinks.  In either case, I had to call their support after the fact to get that amount of money rebated to me. 

Today's purchase attempt/failure was the final straw.  MOSS currently has the LED tail lights listed for $170.  So, I finally broke down and submitted my purchase yesterday.  Well, today I get an e-mail telling me they are no longer available.  Really??     So, why then would MOSS MINI keep the option listed on their website?

Well, after some digging, I found the exact same LED tail lights at Gear-Jammin, albeit a little higher at $225.  So, I replied to the cancellation purchase e-mail and said, "That's funny... they look like they're available to me."  So, what is it then?   

Guess I will just spend my hard-earned $$$ elsewhere.

Adam, Call them and ask for Matt Stark. He was my point of contact up there when we did the get together. Mention me to him, by coincidence, he's also a former Maaco employee from the Richmond area.

If the tail-lights are "out of stock", then yes, the website should be updated to reflect that status.  (It's a training opportunity at this point...)

If the tail-lights are "no longer available" (ie: vendor is no longer able to fill orders), then yes, the item shouldn't even be listed on the website.  (Again, another training opportunity for Moss Mini.)

I just checked Outmotoring.com's website...it's not listed there any longer, so perhaps the vendor really is unable to restock and MossMINI simply didn't update their website accordingly.

Those ARE nice tail-lights.   

I was informed there was only one set of tail lights in stock as of 9/7/2011.  How long it was between now and then that they sold is unknown.  What I suspect is MOSS' website does not account for active inventory.  So, if something sells out, they will continue to list it until manually updated.
