Awhile back, I posted a forum article about getting Brisk silver plugs for 1st-gen MINIs.  Well, it turns out there are now options for 2nd-gens, too.  Here's a link to the associated NAM forum article.  Alta has them for sale here as a set for $59.99.  The electrode is not the same as the set I have, but at least you can have them now as an option.   023

fwiw, several of us who have tried the Brisk plugs for 2nd gens have been having trouble with them.  Usually wandering at idle and skips/stutters when accelerating.  Various theories as to whether it is a problem with the gapping (you have to gap them yourself) or they are not sealing completely when installed and allowing some blowby to occur.

Here is my install write-up [http://www.totehmoon.com/blog/?p=706] from when I tried them.  There are a couple links in there to some other posts with spark plug information.  At this point, I have gone back to the stock NGK plugs while I wait to see whether any better solutions come out for the problems we have been having with them.

Thanks for responding.  Yes, you have to gap the Silver Racing plugs.  Apparently Brisk does not make the Premium LGS plugs for 2nd-gens, which is what I am running.  Because of the unique electrode design on them, there is no gapping.
