Is anyone from this area going to the sleeping dragon event next weekend? Last time I looked there were 103 folks signed up. I am going so I will not be doing the fall colors run this year.

I'd love to do MSSD once, but it always conflicts with our FCR. Next year, we'll get our date out earlier. Thinking this weekend next year. Would be good to do the MSSD as a wind down event after our FCR.

I plan to drive the Back of the Dragon and the Claw of the Dragon on the way down.

Good plan. We'll be waiting for a review.

Conflicts?? They are on different weekends this year .. and yeah, some of us, *knowing* there will be a dearth of MINI events in the winter, are on the books for both .. back to back MINI weekends! YEAH!

Don - headed west from Raleigh, but not til after noon on Friday (won't get there in time for the Flow MINI-Raleigh sponsored picnic ..

Also planning the Clingman's Dome drive on Sunday AM enroute to home .. *if* we can get packed up and outta Fontana (Sunday AM breakfast at Deal's Gap) on time ..

These are some pictures I took from the MINIs on the Sleeping Dragon last week. Also work on the Biltmore Run that I will lead during the Dragon in the spring.
