This is the first MINI since the R53 whose concept, proportions and design execution I can actually get behind. (Well, with the exception of those totally goofy rear louvers). Not enough to buy one have you, but I think they've finally hit on something after all the other attempts.

Agreed! I really liked the coupe, though I thought I wouldn't. I can only imagine how sexy the roadster will be in person.

My theory is to wait for the roadster to come out and when people start selling their cabrio's to get a roadster, I'll be able to pick up a cabrio fairly cheap. Hopefully, that plan will work. We shall see. If not, screw it, I'll just get a roadster.....maybe.

Pretty good plan Dale. Hoping it works out for you !!   I was impressed with the look of the Roadster with the top "up". Not many photo's available that show it with the top up, but from the few that I have seen, it looks pretty good.

I'm still waiting for my pick up model, with a hard top,no louveres, 2 seats, no extended cab crap either.......

I would love to see this happen as well. It would prob be time to trade in my mcs for it!
