With the live entertainer (and I use that term loosely!) and the cramped environs we were stuffed into, there was some talk of moving the peninsula location. Possibly Bailey's British Pub in the Patrick Henry Mall area.

Just so you know... We were cramped because only 6 people said they were coming so I told them 10. 17 showed up and it was an excellent example of why I ask for RSVPs.  I recommend we keep December the way it is planned since it on the calendar. If the gang recommends Bailey's British Pub, I'm all for it. If you plan it, they will come!!  |

Agreed entirely!
RSVP are vital, if ya don't RSVP don't complain! (I did RSVP...didn't I?)
Also agree we should continue through the December at the Tavern and see where it goes from there. Let's just hope the serenading won't be as bad as last time. Either that, or hopefully they can find the volume control knob!

If Kathy doesn't mind, I'll call them and see if the have live entertainment on those nights as well. Also, I'll check to see if they're less busy on Tuesday or Thursdays.
I would miss their fish & chips I have to admit!

Stop at the Tavern after work today ( had a pint and wings). Talked to the bar maid and found that the music is not played on Tuesday or Thursday nite.  And Tuesday is 1/2 off fish and chips night Dale. |

They will not accept reservations on Tuesday's because it is 1/2 price fish & chips night. They did it for us one time, but the manager told me it was their policy not to.
