Ok. I've been with T-Mobile for 10 years. They're wanting more & giving less.

I now own an iPad2 and I'm SERIOUSLY thinking about getting an iPhone.

So....AT&T, Verizon or Sprint?

I want to hear the good & the bad...

I believe if you have an iPad or iPhone on Verizon they are Verizon specific models. Sprint, AT&T, & T-Bag are different than the Verizon ones. Your Apple Store will know for sure.

I have the iPhone 4S on Verizon and love it!  With the 4S, the iPhones are all the same just the part Verizon uses is activated on a Verizon version. From what I understand you would be able to go global with it on Verizon like some droids and crackberries.  Of course I'm terrible on phones, so I have an otterbox case for mine.

Good point Kurt! Otter box is the way to go. Without it, my first iphone lasted me exactly 2 days before I dropped it and busted the face all to pieces. 088  Of course the Otter box I had on order came in the next day!  093

i'll add my 2 cents worth as far as carriers is concerned.....been with verizon since it was contel; yeah i'm an old guy  002  anyway.. verizon has always been very reliable and any issues i had (and they were few) were resoved quickly and efficiently.  don't know how they are with apple products; they just started carrying them and i've gone from palm pilots to droids....  r3

I wouldnt recommend the insurance thru verizon or at&t though.  About $12-14 a month and the deductible is about $190.  Applecare just started covering breakage. It is $99 and the deductible is $49 and its good for 2 yrs

Kurt, I went back and reviewed my Verizon insurance coverage, which is through Asurion.  Regular phones are $45 deductible, non-iPhone smart phones are $99 deductible, and iPhones are $169 deductible??!!   103  Lots of changes since I checked this policy last.  Yeah, I would say Applecare is the way to go for that reason.   023
