Okay gang, 2011 was a great year. We had lots of fun events and traveled out to other clubs events as well. We had more new members join this year than any of the previous years that I can remember and a lot more of the new folks got involved.

Having said that, with 2011 closing rapidly, it's time to look forward to 2012. We'll have some of the regular events like the Fall Colors Run and Checkered Flags Cars and Coffee. Hopefully some of the others will get renewed, like the Pungo Strawberry Festival parade and the popular Chincoteague Run.

So what else is on the agenda and what else would y'all like to see. Here's a hint, if ya bring something up, you'll probably get nominated to help organize the run. It's easy and we'll be glad to assist.

I'm looking at a spring time run to WV for a weekend and reviving a super popular run from years gone by.

So lets hear it, what do y'all have in mind?

I know this idea isn't too spectacular... but I noticed that in days gone by, there have been informal meet-ups at iconic places like Doumar's.  I'd love to see small events like that sprinkled throughout the HR area to maybe increase the ability for some of us to meet and greet that can't normally make some of the other events.  Just a thought.

Doumar's (and the like) as well as Cold Stone meet ups are always fun. And you're right, we do need to do more of them.

But remember our motto "If you plan it, we will come"

Every HR MINI member is free to post up a get together of their choosing. If you're headed out for ice cream or a burger, post it up, I'll bet you'll see a handful of MINI's show up!
