I just registered for BRPT and made room reservations. Just 2 nights since they don't have the info for Friday  night, yet. Signed up for the Wolf group, if that matters to anyone. Seemed to be a good compromise for us. 038

Good job!

This event is a blast! I'm pped that I can't make the whole run this year. It's the same weekend as Christy's graduation. Since I was in Martinsville when she was born, I figured I better make graduation!

I do plan on hauling out Saturday evening and joining up for the last part of the BRPT ending up in Charlottesville. I've made every one so far, I ain't missing this years, even if it is just once days worth!

Sorry we won't make it this year.  The next weekend is MINI's on Top in New Hampshire and we're going! 023

That's something I'd like to do, but its a 14 hour trek from here. More than I'm prepared to do at this time. Not sure that Mary Ann could handle no guard rails on the road. Our son did it last year on a motorcycle. Went up in the dark! Said when he saw the road in the daylight he couldn't believe it (He did get a spectacular sunrise pic.) He said that most people want to drive up the middle of the road, motor cycles included. He said that makes it very interesting when you're trying to drive down. 120

Anyway, you guys have a great time.

fwiw, when the BRP was done South->North the last time, at the end we hooked up with The Great Ice Cream Run for the run up to Maine, spent two days in Bar Harbor (they used to do an event called Bar Harbor Invasion - of course, the year we went up there it was abandoned), and then went over to MoT before returning home (to NC in our case).

We did try to coordinate BRPT and MoT this year so folks could do the same thing.  I do think someone may have to make their own "event" for the week in between as TGICR is only conducted every other year and this is an off year.  I'm pretty sure at least a couple of the THMMC folks are planning to do this - BRPT one weekend, MoT the next weekend.
