As Terry pointed out in another thread, many of us are using Craig's awesome cartoon Mini drawings in our signatures, and we might want to have a shirt made using these adorable characters.
Here's a sample image Craig sent me:

We can worry about what to actually put on the shirt later, I just wanted you to see the basic layout.
Now for the tricky part. I'm sure everyone would like to have his/her Mini on the shirt, but there's only room for nine cars. However, we can do multiple runs, with a different set of nine cars for each run, but each run has to be a minimum of 24 shirts (some combination of T-shirts and sweatshirts).
My idea is to collect names of interested parties, and see if we can come up with nine people that are willing to buy 24 shirts between them. Then I'd collect the money, get the shirts from Craig, and distribute them. Of course, I'd only be passing on the actual cost of the shirts - no markup.
Since we have to get at least 24 shirts, I'd ask that if you want your personal car to appear on the shirt, that you be willing to buy at *least* two. If we can do this, that accounts for the first 18 shirts, and hopefully we can make up the other 6 through people that either order more than two, or people that will want a shirt without their car having to be on it.
The T-shirts will be about $12.50 each, and I'm waiting on pricing for the sweatshirts. As for colours, Craig suggested a light colour so that the cars stand out, as well as just choosing *one* shirt colour, so that none of the Mini's clash with the background. Cream or grey, perhaps?
One last thing - due to technical limitations with the screen-printing process, at least two of the cars on the shirt will need to be the same colour, but I suspect that will work itself out naturally, considering the Electric-blue mafia we have going on around here. 8)
So, let me know if you would like to have your car immortalized on a shirt, and a rough approximation of how many you'd like. Don't worry yet about T-shirt vs sweatshirt, or specific sizes -- I'm just trying to figure out if we can get enough people committed to warrant a run of 24 shirts.
