Costco in Newport News is selling a complete wireless backup camera system for $90!  119 Fuzzy bought one and tested it out today, then we went back and bought two more! This is going to make it very easy to back up the cabrio, I would highly recommend it to the other cabrio owners here.

The other two are going in the Jeep and the GP just for cool toys.  8)

Do you have the make and model number for this thing?  The mind boggles with the potential of a 90 dollar toy :-)

It's the only one Costco sells. ;) And only at Newport News, not the Norfolk store. It's in the same row as auto batteries.

Have not mounted it yet. The monitor is flat panel lcd color, am going to
mount it above the rear view mirror over the airbag light, attaching with
velcro. 12 volts goes to it, planning on tapping the map lights.

The transmitter and camera fit the top plate screws, and wire to ground
and hot to the backup lights. When  the backup lights come on, the
camera sends a signal to the monitor which powers up and displays the
camera output. No wires between the camera and the monitor.

I had it powered up at work for a few hours, and tried several RF signals
to try and block it, but it worked fine. Costco refunds your money if you
don't like it.

Now, who  knows how to get to the map light power on the convertible?

Does anyone know how much the one that connects to the factory NAV screen costs? I know they have one that will mount on the front bumper to look out both sides too.

Yes, those are around $900 plus the cost of the cameras.

Thanks Fuzzy!  Do you know how long the sale is going on?  I'm in Floriday right now cause my grandmother had a stroke.  I would really like to get one though but won't be home till late Sunday.

Angela, it's not a sale but when Costco runs out, it's over.  :( You might check the location in FL? Otherwise, I would think there would still be some left, but probably not after T'giving weekend.
