I got the privilege to use a 06MCS as a loaner at CF yesterday.  I hate to say but it sure wasn?t my MCS.  It just didn?t feel the same.  It seemed kind of sluggish and didn?t pull coming out of turns.  Thought I was going to enjoy driving a different Mini but instead I couldn?t wait to get mine back.

I am driving an 06 all silver MC now, thanks to CF. I dropped off my MCS for its first yearly inspection and to investigate a motor mount oil leak (thanks for spotting it, Scott!). Going from an MCS w/intake, pulley, and rear sway to a stock MC (w/o all the extra toggles too) is a little hard to get used to. Its been a while since I could floor a car and not instantly fear getting pulled over though, so thats a good thing.

Stop in and say "hi" next time you're here.

I looked around, but at 7:30AM the place was dead!

Yes, it's dead at 7:30. The showroom opens at 9am but we are usually around at 8:30. ;-)

I love my 06 MCS!  :P You should be grateful you got an MINI as a loaner. Mine is in the body shop right now and I had to go through my insurance. I got stuck with a Chevy Cobalt.  Man talk about your bad driving experiences. LOL
