Is anyone planning on making one of the Oceana Air Shows this weekend?   017

We have been watching them practice since Wednesday.  045 It's been neat watching the really low fly overs from our back deck or driveway area. PopcornEmoticon  I've taken a few videos for the Hubby's forum since a few of the guys are pilots or really into the Air Show stuff.  My son and I were over at the new shopping area on the corner of Damneck and Princess Anne Roads Thursday.  I had the Mini sunroof open and the Blue Angels flew right overhead in a very low and tight formation. 103 I didn't have the camera, but it sure would've been priceless to get a pic right through the sunroof.  I seem to miss all the really good Kodak moments. icon_rolleyes

Hey there, doubtful we'll go to the show. We live down the street from there so we get a pretty darn good view from the patio  023  At the moment its fairly windy and a tad chilly; but we'll be listening out for the show.

Yeah, I was just out on the deck scooping leaves out of the pool (got to cover this thing soon!!!)  and the cloud cover is surely going to dampen the over all show.  Sounds like it's going to be clouder tomorrow.  I guess I've seen the best views over the last few days practice sessons.  023

No need for attending the show.  I just had two Blue Angles do a fly by right outside my computer desk window.  100 Man, they are very loud when low, close, and banking with speed to boot.

Ah, as of today I need to make a mental note...

My dogs DO NOT like Blue Angel fly overs.  They came out of no where with no warning.  Scared my poor pooches to death.

Did I mention that I think the pilots are wearing black helmets.  icon_lol  Seriously, 045 they were that close.  If not for the speed we could've exchanged waves easily.
